Performing “Beatles For Sale” + hits in NYC and Wilmington!

January 30, 2012 By: dfoster Category: News

It’s been over a year since Bubble have performed any indoor Beatle shows, and we return this February with two back to back performances of “Beatles For Sale” (plus hits from A Hard Day’s Night, Help, Rubber Soul and Revolver) in Wilmington, DE and New York, NY! On Saturday, February 18th, it will be our first time ever at the World Cafe Live @ The Queen…anyone in the vicinity, please help spread the word! And we will return to NYC’s 92YTribeca and the Bring Your Own Kid series. Hometown fans, please come out and show your support…we’ve missed you! “Beatles For Sale” is one of our favorite Fab albums and contains acoustic gems and raw rock n’ roll. We’ll capping that off with some of our favorites from the albums that came before and after. Bring the whole family!

“White Album” songs at 92YTribeca on Dec 12th

October 28, 2010 By: dfoster Category: News

Bubble perform a special “best of” concert of selections from The Beatles 1968 classic White Album for this family friendly concert at 92YTribeca (which IS in Tribeca but NOT on 92nd st). Featuring a dizzying array of styles and sounds, The Beatles (unofficially named The White Album by fans after the plain white album sleeve) was an extreme departure from the group’s previous psychedelic albums Revolver, Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour. From rock n’ rollers like “Back In The USSR”, “Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey” and “Birthday” to gentle acoustic numbers like “I Will,” “Cry Baby Cry” and everything in between, The Beatles crammed two records full of more ideas than most bands do in their entire careers. At this morning performance Bubble will introduce kids (and reintroduce their parents) to some of the best moments from this landmark album.

$15, babies under 2-years-old are free. Order tickets here.
